I shot one at the same rental range I shot the canik at and it was so good I just bought one for $193 on gun.deals.
From what I could tell online they launched with an issue where some of them had dead triggers every shot. Taurus RMAd all of them no questions asked and fixed the issue in current guns, but the rental range model I used did have this issue, which was ironic because the trigger was shockingly good despite being the failure point. I brought it back and told them and they just went "yeah we know. So you wana leave orrrr". Worst rental range I've ever been to. Actual gun owners would just send it back for quick service with a free shipping label. I don't hold recalls against companies if they handle them well and the issues at launch. I do care if they have known issues and never alter the design or fix them.
