My guess is half the reason he said no updates is because he’ll likely be moved to another project (likely smash 6), so even if he wanted to do more he’d be too preoccupied to do so
Best case is a B team gets put in charge for post-launch if demand is proven, but even then I can’t imagine anything big. Maybe a few extra characters/rides at most

It’s not profitable to make something that works, but you can make a lot of money selling the same thing to people over and over. Why limit your sales to one per person when you can triple it just by making it shit?
