Sinatra was balls-deep in mafia connections, and the Italian organized crime of the east coast committed massive election fraud (conventional ballot harvesting techniques) to ensure JFK got into office on the basis that he would turn a blind eye towards organized crime in order to keep Nixon out of the White House. The Kennedy's were one of the dirtiest political families in history, it's well known, but not taught because of distaste in the aftermath of his assassination.
The assassination was organized by the Italian mafia because Kennedy reneged - he became a tough-on-crime president thanks to his brother Bobby, and there was no way the mafia could let anybody get away with double-crossing them so blatantly, so they rubbed him out. Oswald was an excellent patsy - hire a skilled wacko nobody would care about, then get a Jew underling from an "unaffiliated" Murder, Inc. corporation (Jack Ruby worked for the Jewish mafia, tied at the hip to the Italians) to follow the first rule of assassinations: kill the assassin.
The US Government - especially under J. Edgar Hoover - could NEVER admit that the President could be taken out by guinea dago wop goombas, and that the President was a rat in cahoots with the Syndicate, and so they propagated a million conspiracy theories to make everyone question the official story. Only way to distract from the truth - that the Kennedy assassination was a mob hit.
