>Unlike you I don't hide behind intellectual superiority and muh objective rational analysis.
You're projecting things on to me despite be explaining, with objective reasoning, my points.
>We are talking about a video game, which is inherently subjective
Untrue, their are objective truths and comparisons that can be drawn that go beyond "I think this looks bad."
>Your opinion is that they look different
Whether they look different is truth. Whether it matters to me and you is subjective. I explicitly made that point and yet you're acting otherwise.
>Except the very beginning is not linear in HK and that is my point. It is all open and you can spend a long time going somewhere, except it all leads to a dead end.
To that extent, again, you can say that about Rabi-Ribi or Aria of Sorrow as examples. Metroidvanias intrinsically have deadends because, again, as you did not address:
You gain abilities that allow you to reach other areas, or at least parts of other areas, only as you play the game.
>You know what I mean, but instead of having a conversation you are trying to win an argument that exists only in your head.
You are explicitly avoiding parts of my posts that you cannot argue only to reiterate claims that, if you reference the parts of my posts you avoid, are already addressed. All I've done is provide reasoning in response to your claims and you are trying to create some fantastical version of me, a stranger, in your head to avoid responding to my reasoning.
>Well, you can continue to ignore what I don't like about it.
I addressed what you don't like about by explaining how it's untrue with examples. You have not addressed these points. Again:
you cannot farm healing in the middle of platforming challenges and bosses put you at risk when you stop to heal and do not allow you to farm healing beyond the ways I set forth in my prior post.
