I do get the impression that some unhinged people are frightened at the idea of the Switch 2 being a base platform for more ambitious projects, like Resident Evil Requiem or the FF7 remake trilogy have both proven recently.
Like, this is no longer the old Nintendo that was known to be the underdog for so long. Which could explain all the ragebait and the massive misinformation campaign at the console's expense, like how there weren't enough devkits sent around despite news of Switch 2 editions or actual new game releases coming on Switch 2 keep coming.
