I think there is a very high chance that SE will follow in Ubisoft's footsteps. So far the company has gotten away with a lot, there is a reputational and economic safety margin, despite the release of such hits in the recent past as Quiet Man, Left Alive, new Valkyrie Profile, new Phantasy Star, Visions of Mana, and despite a couple of scandalous woke cases related to Rebirth, Forspoken and so on. Yet, in the future, ceteris paribus, one day this reserve will finally run out and another mistake from SE will end up in the video of Asmongold and/or other GAMERS-youtubers, after which the remains of the company's reputation can be buried alive. They walk on very thin ice with all these practices.
