Based SBSbro. Not the smallest, lightest, highest cap, best range, but sometimes it’s about sending a message. The M1 is sweet but the 870 is not gonna be picky.

I like both! Benellis can be just as tricky to find parts for.

I feel like I’m gonna hold off until I can go 1301 just bc it’s pretty much universally well regarded.

Sounds like a good deal. Hunting camp or Multicam?

There’s a few GB sellers I keep an eye on. I’ve won low bids on an 870 SBS and an M1 SBS, and each time the seller had a batch of guns, and would keep delisting. I just waited out the first few of the same type that were listed.

I don’t know about the HD and tactical, both are NuRem and at some point they changed from the +2 mag extension with detent on the barrel jug to the dimpled full length tube (less desirable IMO). I have a 1989 Express I rebuilt to Pokice specs and it’s pretty solid, so just bc it’s not a Wingmaster doesn’t mean it’s crap but you can’t go wrong buying a used 870P. Newer Remingtons and the non-Police/Wingmasters are known to have shit finishes.

SBS enjoyer gets it

Worked with plenty of not-so-competent chicks under 100lbs who were fine with reduced recoil 00 and slugs.

The Benelli collapsible stocks seem like they are still functional. I had an old wire folder on an 870 which was no fun. Pistol grips are good for when you may need an extra hand but I like both.

I was surprised how light the M1 was when I got it.

Do you have a 14” barrel? The Wilson Combat or S&J +1’s sure don’t hurt.

Beat me to it. Def my next shotgun. SBS’s are GOAT for HD.

I’ve got 5 in the toob, a 6 round side saddle and 2 round card on the stock. I’m pretty sure I can hold the fort down as is.
