game looks and sounds nice and it has some cute girls, but ultimately the uninteresting story and low difficulty (even on TZ) prevent me from rating it any higher than a 7. even if i despise the direction that modern FE has taken in terms of tone and general character writing, games like engage still hold my attention with how it actually pushes you to use its tools. outside of curing blindness in albion and actually having to restructure squads in bastorias to make up for the sudden yet welcome difficulty spike, i was almost entirely running on autopilot which is a death sentence when it comes to my enjoyment of a game
