I've replaced all the plugs on my electronic devices for the local plug type. I soldier/repair headphones that aren't produced anymore as well. That's not the same as running live cables - but honestly it's not that hard to learn what you do.
I could probably learn what you do in less than a day if we are honest.
But you are never going to study Differential Geometry and understand it.
Same goes for any other type of tradie class that exists.
I'm fairly confident I could build a house on my own with all the modern facilities and would do a similar or even better job (due to actually caring about the job) than experienced tradies.
The reason I don't do it (and people like me in general) is simply because society values our time more when we do more complex things.
Our rank is higher than yours. That's just how the universe decided and you have to cope with it.
