i used to struggle with my monkey mind so i would constantly think of different random things instead of my practice, i found affrimations to be helpful, for example i imagine my self to have what i need AND the feeling of posssessing it and i also say repetitive things to my self, that has a hypnotic effect that makes it easier to reach that state and focus, for example i keep telling my self:
"I am so happy right now to have this wonderful thing happening to me"
"Money comes to me in expected and unexpected ways"
Etc
