Why do Yidhari apologists exist, she's a dogshit design and anybody who actually wanted something as exotic as an octopus thiren should be disappointed by her. The standards here are lower than the Mariana trench. This shouldn't even be an argument, we all know that she's just the nun with tentacles pasted onto her ass. "Octopus thiren" wasn't even a part of the characters initial conception.

Octopus tentacles aren't comparable to the ears/tails most other thirens have. They're actual grasping appendages that are even more dexterous than human hands. She doesn't need to go around sucker punching enemies, but the fact that she doesn't even have animations where she holds the hammer with her tentacles is outrageous. Why would a character wielding a heavy two handed weapon never make use of their four extra limbs?
Actual garbage, it's the very antithesis to what ZZZ originally gave us, and I'm appalled that anybody is willing to settle for it.
