probably a combination of factors. i lean toward the fact that if these names and actors came to light that the entire system would shake to the foundation, and it's more prudent to save the republic by trying to make it go away. all of our government apparatus and wealthy elites would appear illegitimate, on both sides of the aisle. calamity would ensure, many may die after the system is destabilized. not to mention the fact that these "elites" look at us normal folk like cattle, so they'd probably have no problem with releasing viruses/bombs/project bluebeam/etc onto the public to retain control of us all.
i hate these faggots like you wouldn't believe, but what we don't know won't hurt us. these "people" will kill us all before they lose their grasp on everything. but hey, maybe that's what we need? a major upheaval of everything we know and a mass culling event to reshape the world into a better place free of these cocksuckers.
