Continuing since my post reached the character cap, Deltarune Toriel is important for this point because it shows that even with the tragedy of Asriel and Chara's death removed, she's still a spiteful alcoholic cunt who loses interest in anyone close to her that doesn't go along with her shit.
This actually makes her worse than someone like Ceroba from UTY. Bad writing aside, Ceroba's fuck ups in that game are reliant entirely on shit that happened to her, she lost her husband and it made her act retarded and drove her to desperate measures. Remove that tragedy from her backstory in something like a DRY take and you'd have to make a huge fucking reach to put her in the same situation she is in during UTY (Alcoholic and willing to kill a kid). Remove the tragedy out of Toriel's backstory and she's still a nasty spiteful cunt.
And since I'm bringing up Ceroba, funnily enough nothing bad would have even happened with her if Toriel had done her fucking job as queen right.

So this cunt nobody knows (except Sans who won't do shit) shows up out of nowhere, declares herself queen and says that despite the fact that a human just killed a bunch of monsters including the king and fucked off, that now they have to bend over for humans, of fucking course they're going to be fucking pissed.
