But it's not even a meaningful size thing. Outside of shit like Bravely Default's paltry 4 GB requirements, a lot of the Switch 2 releases would've comfortably filled out the 64 GB minimum, e.g. Yakuza 0's 54 GB. They just don't want to eat the cost at all, even outside of stuff like Marvelous or CDPR just saying they bumped up the price to subsidize the all-on-cartridge releases.
Fact of the matter is a lot of these companies wouldn't even bother if they didn't have to. Blurays are much much cheaper than a medium that has had zero reason to exist until the Switch 2 and a lot of companies don't even bother with that anymore.
