think about it logically, why wouldn't the most notorious cheaters in the world at everything not slime their way into the graces of the scientific communities of the world by faking incredible scientific discoveries? especially one where the researchers are always starving for funds and money, can't agree on even the most fundamental things and tend to make bullshit papers not only for recognition and money, but even just for spite?
also, i can get behind liaoling having some very high quality fossil beds, but shit like yutyrannus having feathers sounds fishy when you think about it. alongside that, they have a notorious forgery problem and even top chinese paleontologist admitted their museums are flooded with that shit. some of those fakes are laughable, some surely not so much
