I gave my PC from over a decade ago to my wife when I built my new pc - her pc has a 980 in it. It runs all the latest games off Steam at 60fps, even shit like Eldenring or Enshrouded, or the JRPG shit she plays like Persona.

I've never had any tech fag/Jeet explain to me how or why this is even a thing, they just say "haha, old card!". I've got a 4090 because I fell for the 4K meme, and I legitimately cannot see a difference between the shit she plays on 1080p and my 4K stuff.

At this point the only thing that will require her PC being replaced is the parts falling apart just from wear and tear. If not for that the PC that cost $2500 12 years ago is running modern shit exceptionally well.
