So what these tastes from YoshiP has revealed to us mere mortal plebeians is that YoshiP is a casual viewer of movies, that these are the most generic and mainstream movies that people of his generation can enjoy. He likes them but this makes him basically a Popcorn movie fan, or if you want to be more critical he's a Bandwagon movie fan only liking movies with mass appeal and what is popular.
If you notice there isn't really a single thing there he listed that is offensive or would garner an audience to look at his taste and say "oh that's interesting I would never have thought that of him".
It's basic mass appeal, cinema movies he's listed, so fucking generic it hurts.
