Purposefully killing FFXIV so that the higher ups stop diverting its money to fund half-baked failures like Forspoken, The Quiet Man, Valkyrie Elysium, DioField Chronicle and so on. Just look at the patch content ARR or Heavensward had every 3 months compared to what DT get every 4 months and a half.

The problem here is that the mobile version might end up replacing FFXIV as SE's main source of income so they won't care

Forked tower isnt very difficult the hardest part is joining a group but there are a bunch of discords organizing runs everyday and with the recent hotfix its pretty easy to get into an instance and avoid snipers. Mechanically none of the bosses are even at an extreme level hell some of them are easier than some of the 24 man raids.

Because he is the main guy at the top of FF14, he is the forward facing, man of this game who even said himself if there are complaints to bring them to him and leave the other devs alone.
He is managing the game poorly and allowing it to stagnant in this maintenance mode which ffxiv somehow has found itself in rather than being an innovator of the genre.
The last time the FFXIV devs did something creative and innovated instead of "streamlining" (nu-speak for removing features) was Stormblood. Since then almost every change has been a removal of a system or button or feature in favour of homogenisation.

Raiders are a small, static population that never grows, and normal players do not become part of it. I actually really like FF7Rs combat system for the most part, it actually feels like a well thought out and realized blend of action and turn based with its ATB system, so you play it like an action game, but your ATB charges are used like how you'd use them in a turn based style, the slowdown when selecting moves is also a nice touch

Well the idea is rather simple.
Split the screen into a circle and 2 rings.
Keep the area around your character clear so you can see where you're stood and what's going on immediately around you clearly. At most you might want the buffs/debuffs from mechanics in this.
Anything important to know, used often etc. in the first ring. Hotbars, party list, focus target, enemy cast bars, job gauge, whatever. It's up to you.
Push everything else out to the edge if it cannot be culled completely.
Mess around with it, blend the edges of rings etc. with how important you think it is until you're comfortable with it all.

That last part is key. I also believe 7.0 itself only intensified that poison. For over a decade you cultivated a fanbase that loves THEIR character in the spotlight being a hero. Wuk stole all of that which okay, in the first half of 7.0 that was kinda understandable. The real insult came after we helped her achieve her goal, our job was done. It was our turn and the game even baited us into thinking it was our turn to do what we do with Shaaloani...and then it happened. There she was again, front and center.

That part really destroyed Wuk forever in my view. At least for me. I felt completely demoralized when that happened after getting a second wind so to speak with Dawntrail once me and Erenville set off without her.
