A schizophrenic white-knight (evidence pointing to it being an entire Discord), who was mindbroken by the negative reception to Dawntrail. has made it his seeming life mission to be Dawntrail's most devoted white-knight for this past year, and has increasingly become unhinged as his various copes (each post-patch being a new cope for him) up to and including Occult Crescent will save the expansion in the eyes of the general population. So now he's just completely lost his mind and is now attempting to force a narrative that everyone who hates Dawntrail is one person.
The result is he has made these threads almost completley unsuable as he just has his schizo-fits every single time, because every single FFXIV thread on /v/ now is negative and he can't stand it, but has no more remaining copes left so he's just lashing out in a deranged fit.

He's had various copes, like how he was coping the past few months that Occult Crescent would bring everyone back, so he was REALLY shilling OC for a bit and telling people to just "get over" 7.0 (because everything past 7.0 was also being recieved negatively beside's 7.2 MSQ being mildly better recieved, but the sub numbers continued to plummet).
Than Occult Crescent came out and was universally hated and so now he has literally no copes remaining other than 7.3's MSQ

I remember him desperately trying to convince people, in the weeks leading up to 7.25, to "move on" from 7.0 because "we've got the new foray to look forward to soon, nobody cares about 7.0 anymore we've got the new Foray coming out". Like for a while he seemed REALLY desperate to convince people to resub for Occult Crescent. Than when it came out and was a disaster because of dogshit design decisions like everything about Forked Tower, he pivoted away from that entirely and now I don't know what his current cope is, he just seems to be flailing at anyone criticizing Dawntrail with no rhyme or reason at this point.
