I watched the first series as it aired and it was fine but holy fuck the fandom is hyperbolic about how “good” it is
In terms of American “serious” cartoons, only the following are worthwhile in any capacity:
>transformers prime (I would say armada but that was animated in Japan)
>tmnt 2003
>batman the animated series
>justice league
>samurai jack (debatable)
>xmen
