i have no idea where i heard this, but apparently the conflict between kenny and luke would come to a death match because luke got bit and tried to hide it, and kenny found out and went apeshit on him for hiding it
i assume both of them would've died or at the very least on the verge of death, because that version of the story ends with clementine having to choose between dying with aj or abandoning him in the cold for a better chance of living herself

troy sexually abusing clementine was never in the cards, according to his va iirc, he's just a creep
kenny being the antagonist never left the initial s2 pitch, he was always planned to return but writing hadn't even started when him being an antagonist was offered
the tiger is from the second ceo script, which was scrapped for being terrible, not for that scene specifically but the whole thing

in the edgier script (beta/ pre release script) there was supposed to be a bear attack when escaping from the hardware store during the horde and the whole plan went tits up as the situation deteriorated even harder than in the final game
apparently the bear model was finished and was later used in the GOT game

season 2 had a really rough development
the initial plan was a proper continuation of s2 that was about clementine and christa's journey to a safe settlement and getting over omid's death/ loss of the baby
ending would've been getting to said settlement and having an interview type thing to see if they get to stay or not
kenny was planned to return right from the start but was supposed to die iirc, he is mentioned to have a new gf but it was never said what happened to her, it's likely she was a possible survivor
the edgy story was the third draft of the script and more or less was a much darker version of the game we have
a lot of cut plots were supposed to be in it, like luke vs kenny, and the final choice would've been clem abandoning aj in the snow for a better chance of surviving herself or lying down and dying with him
it's worth noting that s2e1 was mostly unchanged despite all the rewrites, which is why it feels the most like s1 tonally, because some of the og writers worked on it
