>muh exclusives
It plays PC exclusives all the way to the 80s. The main advantage of the Deck is being able to install whatever software you want without doing a stupid and pointless jailbreak humiliation ritual in order to uncuck your hardware that you should rightfully own.
>but any laptop/umpc/phone can do that!
But the Steam Deck does it best because it is LITERALLY designed for playing PC games (that were never designed for a controller) thanks to the trackpads, back buttons, capacitive joysticks and Steam Input. Wanna know why? Because the left trackpad can be used for hotkeys, the back buttons are also used for hotkeys, the capacitive joysticks can be used for gyro activation, and Steam Input makes it piss easy to set it all up. Meanwhile the rest of the competition is still trapped in Microsoft's xInput dogshit.
