And that's unironically a good thing. Developers should be free to make what they want and not get harassed for it. Especially indie developers, which also get shit (Looking at Relooted as a recent example). There's nothing cynical about thinking we live in a world where whiners can't just force developers to make slop they don't believe in for the sake of catering to people that hate their guts.
