Yeah, our ass needs to learn and deal with ourselves, for the damage we do is to ourselves as well. If God intervened openly, then the common Man would bitch and moan about lack of free will, predetermination, the needlessness of suffering, etc... and all other ailments. At that point, the experiment might as well be ruined.
