I think you forget just how bad most people are at everything. If you play any game with multiplayer, it puts you back in touch with the fact that 99% of the people that call themselves """gamers""" are only just above the level where they need to stop and look at what button to press, if even that.

I view it the same way as I view Simpsons Hit and Run. Not the best game ever but consistently good the whole way through and short enough, even to 100%, that I can replay it every year or two and have a good time.
