I don't update every day because I'm scared something breaks. That's why I only update on Saturdays, so that I have time to fix stuff if it's broken.
Having said that, I've been on Arch for years across multiple desktops/laptops and the only time I had issues was when I had a NVIDIA card. The "Arch breaking all the time" meme is such bullshit. Arch is actually incredibly stable.

I really think that Windows users vastly underestimate how good Proton is now.
For like 90%+ of games you don't even have to check compatibility anymore, it just works.
This goes for new releases as well.
Chances are that if a game doesn't work on Linux the developers are actively sabotaging Linux users (kernel level anticheat).
