>Because you’ve done it before?
Everything similar I’ve done before is a necessary evil in pursuit of obtaining the power, knowledge and logistical support needed to destroy the SA. I don’t care if Rapture turns people into hungry shadows, the SA causes more suffering by EXISTING.

>people WILL
>change isn’t real
There’s no proof or suggestion that everyone obtaining enlightenment is the ultimate outcome of the SA, rather than an arbitrary minority like the AOs lucking out while everyone else is trapped in samsara loops of endless fucking up.

>We SEE Carter-
-overwhelm something on a much smaller scale than an Outer God.

>You cannot have it both ways
The way I’m having it is that 1. those stories EXPLICITLY assign their supreme beings both agency and benevolence, unlike the SA who is notionally an actual cosmic chatGPT and 2. that the algorithms established there are objectively superior at erasing suffering.

>How does that work
Again, like with Venn diagrams. Like a couple of amoebas smooshed into each other. Nyarlathotep is overlaps with the SA, but the SA is not the whole of Nyarlathotep.

Funny thing. The main arc this season has been Ikora accusing the Nine of being everything I could be if I didn't respect the Gardener because, and I cannot stress this enough, they literally killed a woman just to make her a pawn in their games when she revived as a Guardian. Just as they make other races fight their own battles for them. Just like they changed the Lone Wolf's (the MC's) past to make him their ideal weapon

I bask in my eternal stagnation. It's very relaxing.

Given the low standards of behaviour for Forgotten Realms gods, I don't think so. I mean just ask the Dead Three what their criteria for sainthood is.

You just listed all the ones I can think of. Everyone else is either complicit, gleefully complicit, or in denial. At least until 5e tried to unceremoniously retcon the Wall out of the setting without even a setting-changing cosmic event, clearly because nu-WotC is afraid of internet arguments instead of just rolling with the premise like Neverwinter Nights and letting you become a soul-devouring abomination in protest.
