You got any advice for somebody trying to get back into a tech career?
I wanna put my education to good use and I'm looking for some sort of stability in my life.
I'm gonna brush up on my skills again soon, but a few gigs would be possible for me at this point too.
I'm tried of living life this, man...I need to feel like a functional person again.

Is it acceptable if I ask for advice to improve myself and my life before I consider dating officially?
I am not at a point where I can go out looking for companionship, but I'd like to try after I've gotten my shit together more.
Is it cool if I still ask questions here?
I'm in a bad spot in n life but I'm determined to be better.

I lost 9.5 BTC (~$1 Million) using the built-in swap feature inside Ledger Live. The provider, Cripto InterCambio (CIC), took custody of my Bitcoin but never delivered the USDT. I followed all procedures, KYC, and confirmations. Now CIC is ghosting me, and Ledger says it’s not their responsibility. I have full proof. This is a warning and a cry for help.

I’m 21 years old. With my father’s help, I’ve been investing in crypto for years. I’ve always tried to do things safely. That’s why I used Ledger Live — thinking it was a trusted, secure ecosystem.
On June 22, 2025, I swapped 9.55903438 BTC to USDT through Ledger Live, using their integrated provider Cripto InterCambio (CIC).
Here are the key details: • Swap ID: v1l357dtesyra7ac • BTC TXID: 416625e9c90567dcd831e6beacd87e7f61571bf66aa168b14f7bf0045cbb2b19 • Receiving address (on-chain): bc1qyapkmvtlpdqcmah4dfgauydeydye70tj2ceczy • My return/refund address: 3CeZDHZQpTMM9VRCE76EwmRGn53T3gZtzB
The BTC left my wallet. It was confirmed. But I never received the USDT.
They requested KYC. I submitted it. Then they asked for source-of-funds documentation — I even dug up an old transaction from Bittrex. Still, nothing. No refund, no tokens, no resolution.
I contacted Ledger, expecting them to help since I used their app. They brushed it off, saying it’s “a third-party partner” and not their responsibility.
So who is responsible when Ledger sends you to a swap partner that holds your money?

Every time I try to reconnect with old friends, that I was genuinely close with at the time, they make it clear they couldn't care less that I came back and never speak to me again beyond the initial re encounter. I'd rather them just not say anything the first time, it would sting less when I realize they don't care about me anymore. Everyone now is a fake bitch and coward. Not even man enough to say to my face that they don't want to be friends anymore. I would have preferred that.

>Nearly impossible to find a job, even then it's low paying and you get laid off like a month later
>Impossible to afford a home, impossible to afford rent, even then you're just barely surviving sometimes even with above average income
>Nearly impossible to find a good partner in this horrendous dating culture where 50%+ of women are narcissistic used up whores
>Middle class is dying, richer getting richer while poorer only getting poorer, corporations/and or government making our lives worse
>Society overall only seems to be getting worse and not better anytime soon or further in the future
How did it get this way? How is society not going apeshit right now? Why aren't we doing anything about it?
