I am an avid defender of 5's because media that was made for consumption still has loads of man hours put into them and if you dissect them such as like lighting, camera angles, acting, then the editing and shot framing ect. A 5 can have solid camera work and fantastic presentation. And still be boring. I would say those values would be of staff doing their best with what they have. Numbers are just easier for me to digest. And instead a scale of 1 to 5. 10 can be more detailed if you take in the factors like I mentioned. Average slop can be enjoyable. Season 1 sucked but it was enjoyable to watch. Especially when I watched with my girlfriend and lore dropped my favorite horse to her
