Stupid question probably, but when the package of a say 500g cut of meat says 200 calories per 100g, it means the ENTIRE thing, fat included, is 1000 calories, right?
So if you don't eat the rendered fat, and you didn't cook it in butter or oil or whatever, then the calories is actually less than 1000?
I've always counted the rendered fat as if I had eaten it, and I will continue to do so, but that is correct right?
