Yes, its possibly the best game ever made. Practically every single boss fight, mechanic and interaction there is done right and can't be removed without damaging the game. Its just the right length and NG+ feels like a whole new game even without new enemy placements.

As much as I love the game, I probably wouldn't. Its a finished story which should be left alone. Not every game has to turn into a franchise.

I haven't played i, but it looks fun. And I like the atmosphere they were going for. Something akin to Dishonoured mixed with Bloodborn.
