I never gotten why he seems to have such a hate boner for RPGs. I mean in some regards I get his points (RPGs getting merge with other games they shouldn't be in, and "good" RPGs having gameplay that sucks)
I say that some of the actual best RPGs carry his ideals in several ways. From holistic game design, to just plain good difficulty and gameplay
