Nintendo is stupidly slow with licensing, likes of pokemon and kirby get away due being handled by a second party. Mario nendoroid only got a second run after movie released in japan for example.

For those who don't know, Warpstar inc produced Kirby anime. Konami recently build their own anime division to handle adaptations, I guess they are following similar steps.

Nintendo already license content, Kirby LNs, Mario kun, Splatoon and FE engage manga, but never had big focus on that.

Why are they so obsessed with movies?
I thought tendies only cared about Pokemon slop and farm simulators, why are they copying playstation?
