So apparently salamanders gets their own detachment variation of firestorm with a fall back and fire ability.
Cool yeah? I might be able to run my salamander side of marines sooner than I anticipated.

Tactical marines are cooler than primaris.
>140pts for 2 gnarly guns, fist sergeant with special pistol
Frag Missile+Flamer+Storm Bolter Serg+Firestorm(inside12"+1Str) is 18bolter+D6+D6&Blast(bs4+) = 25+ average shots at +1str(all str5's without heavy intercessors AP).
If Intercessors (+20pts) needs to move and shoot, their shots are also BS3+. If you use Rhinos then the points are skewed, but the Tacticals will get that 12" rapid fire more often.
Different strokes for different folks but I bet Tacticals being cheaper with triple anti vehicle guns (Multi melta+meltagun+grav pistol) makes them more flexible.
Thank Firestorm Assault Force detachment to keep them in the game.

I welcome all the units as options.
Even legends units.

Hypothetical army I want to run. Because I believe in the concept of a young chapter having minimal equipment choices and having "The Holy Bolter" being their ideal weapon.
Intercessors, Heavy Intercessors, Devastators with Heavy Bolters, maybe some Sniper Scouts and Suppressors.
Using Anvil Siege Force
>Ranged weapons equipped by ADEPTUS ASTARTES models from your army have the [HEAVY] ability. If such a weapon already has this ability, each time an attack is made with that weapon, if the attacking model’s unit Remained Stationary this turn, add 1 to the Wound roll.
I don't know if its competitive or able to stand on its own. HB+Autocannon could lend me options like Destructors, and the like. But as it stands, I like the current theme.
Should I do it? I want to meme bolters.
