Yeah, and they even had a scene in Daybreak 1 where she's in the fucking void realm or whatever it was called and she literally starts saying:

Like a freak because her trauma is being forced back out in that scene. They're definitely not sugarcoating her past, they're just not gonna endlessly give you constant reminders. I think developers should make better games and not half-ass things. They're getting a lot of criticism and instead of owning up to it they're trying to use that one Japanese guy who said "kys wwwwwwwww" as a reason to nullify player opinion.
