Ouroboros were a proper threat only in sky. After SC Walter mellowed down after his fight with Zin and he kinda found peace after realizing that his master was planning to die anyway. After Kai im not sure what to make of ouroboros, they were still trying not to get involved due to the agreement with Gramheart, but after that ending the status quo will probably end. Kondo said they didn't even plan ouroboros for Kai, but because they needed to rush the story after a poor reception of Kuro 2 they put them in grim sharten which is a side dungeon and if you complete it you'll get a pretty big reveal and lore drop. Funny enough you only see Grandmaster if you complete grim garten despite her being on a fucking boxart of the game.

This is on display in sky, to a hugely reduced extent in crossbell, effectively absent from ereboni,a and now somewhat visible again in clavard. Sure, you can make the argument that Arianrhod and Vita are just less evil, but given Mariabell's unhinged moustache twirling, it's obviously just the case it was a tonal decision in cold steel, the arc that now looms large over the series.

Not really, they’re basically now the equivalent of a Northern India Jeet Brahmin, because Jeets themselves are just Abo/Caucasoid mixes and it’s depending on caste which one they’re more of. Romani are the Castizos to the average Jeet Mestizo average, just replace the Native American component in Mestizo for Abo instead.
