Going into an active war zone, near the frontlines and defusing the active munitions of one side is not impartial behavior. These munitions are still militarily relevant and they serve as obstacles and logistical challenges to the Ukrainian defenders. Defusing them is blatantly beneficial to one party taking part in the conflict and blatantly deleterious against the other.
