>Played my first game of 10th a couple of weeks ago
>I bring mostly infantry, a few light vehicles and some heavy weapons. It's a 1000 point game as guard so I am not bringing tanks
>He/She/It brings 10 Deathwing Terminators with a Chaplain who casts all this random shit I don't understand and I think is too powerful.
>I bring a 20 man squad back from the dead with that 2 command point combined arms strat.
>He charges them and they all die in one turn of combat

I don't care if it's rude anymore, I want to know what my opponents lists are before I play them. If they want to bullshit me with three tanks in a 1000 point game, I can, will and have the moral right to adjust my own list.

Question for socialanons. I suffer from the tism so I require elaboration.

How do I broach the subject of correcting a rule with someone who definitely thinks it is something else without pissing them off? They hold the belief that the rule means this, when I know it does not. I have not confronted them yet because I don't want to piss them off. It's not too serious, but it's nudging me. Is there a good way to do it without sounding condescending?
