Well a Google image search muddies the waters a little bit. Because there are some frames from both the anime and the Rebuilds where Kaji has blue eyes, but there are other frames, seemingly a lot more frames, where he's got brown eyes.

And we know Misato's got brown eyes.

But her kid in Thrice Upon A Time has blue eyes.

If both Kaji and Misato have brown eyes, where'd the blue eyes come from? The most prominent male character in the series with blue eyes is... Shinji.

Well, i can't disagree with that. Still less woke than Western cartoons, though. Out of 50 anime produced each season, only 1 or 3 tops are actually gay while the West only manages to make 3 cartoons per year, and they are all gay

Not only is he gay, he's a bottom. He's a bottom in almost every pairing you put him with. Not just Kaworu: Shinji also takes the submissive role in his pairing with Misato and his pairing with Asuka.

He always leaves the assertive, masculine role in the relationship to others. Even with Rei, kind of. He's very faggy.
