you're probably assuming all autist must be non verbal spastics but thats simply not the case. a speech delay, not responding to their name, no joint attention, no playing pretend games and so on so forth as a baby or toddler is hallmarks of autism. they may speak around 4-6 years old but with a clear delay. most can look quite normal when they're older.
IQ ranging from retarded to above average or gifted. your concept of ASD is based off outdated ideas.
although ill grant you its massively over diagnosed now and its obivous a lot of online LARPers are making it up.
