It's pretty telling that the more they diverged from copying Warhammer, the worse the setting became. Of course this all culminated with the complete hijacking of the company by troons and mentally ill californians who inject their fake trauma in to every facet of their work, most notably the writing and storytelling. There is quite literally not a single redeemable quality to modern warcraft in any regard and anyone who promotes that game (let alone the fucking lore) has some form of braindamage or a severe case of sunk cost disorder for all the time they wasted on that game growing up.
