I can attest to that, posted about this quite a few times by now. I paid like $20 something on temu and replaced the airbrush for another $4 when its tip got cracked.

I'd highly suggest getting a dogshit airbrush with one of those mini compressors from temu, the tip of the airbrush got cracked after priming 40 models and basecoating another 15 but I got a replacement airbrush for about $4. It'll give you a taste of what an airbrush can do and at worst you're worse off $20. Other than being good, it does everything till it lasts.

Shame the tip of the airbrush got cracked and I happen to have 30 more neophytes and 10 more acolytes on sprue, plus other stuff. I'll just assemble all 40 bodies then either borrow one or get a new one from temu just to basecoat their armors again. When it works, it works and does its job. The paint looks nice as but I don't really enjoy using it, can be goopy when applying with a brush.
