I wonder how the Japanese feel about Balamb Garden. It's not like "boarding schools" are unheard of there, but for European nations (and envious Americans), a beautiful boarding school like this is 10/10 masterpiece amazement. Hell, just look at Harry Potter!
If you're a white guy, chances are, you absolutely adore the chance of getting to go to Balamb Garden. It looks PERFECT!

And if you need to got to a nearby town to get away from school, Balamb seaside port is gorgeous and equally calming. And it's all just tucked under a gorgeous mountain range, there are forests surrounding it, a volcanic cave system for regular school trips... PERFECT!!

The town of Balamb, like Balamb Garden, are so beloved literally because of its musical tracks. For a mere 70 seconds that repeats non-stop, it skyrockets the love people have for those places and this game.
