The real problem is how lazy they are with the heroes individually in the movie vs the comics. Reed in the comics does all kinds of insane shit with his stretching. He does none of that in the movie. Just jumps around a bit. Sue in the comics is overpowered as shit, and usually uses it to assist the others, making force fields, creating platforms, baiting enemies to strike where she was using invisibility. It helps create a non stop barrage of the others getting in hits. In the film she uses the invisibility once to great effect and then never again. The rest of the time she just pushes with her TK. In the comics Thing is walloping the fuck out of enemies. When he means clobbering time he means using the enemy as a speedbag. He's launching shit at enemies non stop. In the movie he throws one truck at Galatus and tries to hit him with a crane. And Johnny in the comics is one man forest fire, constantly keeping whatever foe they're fighting trying to put themselves out or escape whatever prison of flames hes contained them inside. In the movie he gets one good shot at Galactus' eyes and then he never does it again. And Galactus himself just strolls around New York, flicking them away like fleas. He never uses any of the crazy ass shit he can do in the comics. The entire thing was just lazy. No oomph. The Surfer was the only one in most of the fights that seemed to be putting in an effort
