"Hype lore potential" trailers and marketing is all they will ever have and then how turn the characters out every single time? Potatos statically standing around and yapping to each other for most of the story, while half the players seethe because their "lore theories" (shipfagging and homopandering) didn't play out as they wanted, while the other half desperately tries to convince themselves, each other and everyone else that they do not have buyer's remorse and that the new potato model based on a mild design in fact does look like the off-model fanart they keep spamming.
