That makes literally no fucking sense. They literally had an entire film called "THE END of Evangelion" that pretty decisively concluded the franchises story. The next time we see "Evangelion" on the big screen it pretty obviously doesn't continue from where we left and is very clearly being a remake/reboot that changes everything. How is that a "sequel"? Are anime fans terminally retarded or something? Why would they theorize it to be a sequel?
