I've seen a whole bunch of autists make their own MTG cards and they always go for 5 colorless 2 red 2 blue type cards with indestructible, hexproof, uncounterable and yada yada you win the game. Essentially in any constructed format it would be cheated out AND you have better targets to cheat out.
And then you have the actually good cards of your favorite anime/video characters

Yeah. I feel bad for the people who actually liked the settings and story for MTG, even if I wasn't one of them. Still got some Final Fantasy MTG cards though so I can play games with friends who have already long since given up hope for MTG to feel like MTG anymore.
