I live in California and the city I live in turned off everyone's electricity for a couple weeks a few years ago because they were afraid that it was so hot that it would cause fires
It was intense how dark it was at night. I remember carrying a flashlight and going for a walk and I went and laid in some grass at the park and stared up at the stars. The stars were so bright and shining, it's a tragedy that I can't see them very well when there is electricity and street lights and whatnot. It was almost an overwhelming feeling of awe, just seeing the night sky in the pitch black darkness

I'm not sure if I want a family or not, seems like a lot of responsibility
But I also don't want to be alone for the rest of my life
Once my parents die, then it's gonna really suck being alone, so I'm a little worried about that
