Personally, I get a lot of satisfaction from being alone in a crowd. I have spent a ton of time walking around with sessions running in my earbuds on my phone. I really think you should go out and be a part of your community, even if it's by yourself.
I guess my point is to beware of self isolation. It can be pretty easy to do and it isn't very good for you. I do it a lot, too and sometimes I need a fren to remind me not to let life slip by.
