Someone explained to me that these people are comparable to America's ESRB in power. Wouldn't such a huge group be the leading voice Government would listen to in regards to developer rights vs. consumer rights? As I understand it, they believe providing ways for private hosting for online-only games that shut down would be far too risky for the developer and would cannibalize sales of future entries. Overall wouldn't the Government just go with what stimulates the economy more, aka the devs?
